We’re currently seeking experienced, motivated and enthusiastic people to facilitate learning at camps at various outdoor education venues in Sydney and surrounds.

You’ll be responsible for facilitating and leading camp programs as well as ensuring participant safety and satisfaction. Whether you’re facilitating a mother’s group, a corporate team day or running an outdoor camp, every day at work will bring unique opportunities.

What we’re looking for

We’re searching for people who have a professional attitude, excellent facilitation skills, can implement experiential learning, have a keen eye for safety, a friendly manner and an ability to handle multiple demands at one time. You’ll be able to adapt to various work styles in the outdoor recreation sector including hard top camps, expeditions and adventure therapy.

We’re looking for people who can think outside the box, are creative, personable, flexible and have the ability to create meaningful experiences for those who participate in our programs.

Do you enjoy working with children? This is a child-related role (engaging with children under 18), with the possibility of working with people of all ages.

What we require from you:
  • minimum Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation
  • proven experience in group facilitation
  • extensive experience in delivering experiential learning
  • excellent time management and punctuality
  • strong verbal communication skills
  • ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team
  • well-developed decision-making skills
  • current NSW driver licence and own transportation
  • current First Aid Certificate
  • current Bronze medallion or willingness to obtain ASAP.
Aspiring skills (but not essential):
  • desired skill sets include bushwalking, canoeing, mountain biking, archery, high and low ropes, climbing and abseiling.
  • Wilderness or Remote Area First Aid.

  • adventure therapy programs
  • camps at hardtop facilities
  • wilderness expedition camps
  • programs for participants with disabilities
  • urban expedition city programs.

We’re committed to meeting the aims and outcomes of schools, churches, community and corporate groups through adventure-based and experiential learning in the great outdoors.

Our qualified team deliver exciting and meaningful outdoor programs at our diverse range of venues and locations. Every program is tailor-made to meet the specific needs of individual clients, which will provide youwith an exciting and dynamic work environment.

Our office is based in Ermington and your shifts will be held at different venues across New South Wales.

Remuneration will be in accordance with the Fitness Industry (Federal) Award and all successful applicants are required to attend pre-employment training.
