As the Outdoor Education Operations Supervisor, you’ll lead the planning and delivery of unforgettable camp experiences, ensuring they are safe, engaging, and tailored to achieve each school’s learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of program delivery from planning to post-camp review.
- Supervise and support a team of Senior Instructors and Outdoor Educators.
- Design programs in consultation with schools to meet specific objectives.
- Manage rosters, staffing, and equipment maintenance.
- Oversee budgets and ensure programs are cost-effective.
- Maintain safety standards, SOPs, and compliance requirements.
- Build strong relationships with schools, partners, and stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For
- Experience leading outdoor education programs and teams.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Knowledge of risk management and safety compliance in outdoor settings.
- A ‘can-do’ attitude with the flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Cert IV or higher in Outdoor Recreation/Education (or equivalent).
- Current First Aid and CPR (Remote Area First Aid desirable).
- Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain).
- Manual driver’s licence.
