Position Description: Casual Urban Guide
The Urban Challenge experience redefines outdoor education. Each program is an innovative, unfolding adventure which enables high school students in years 8 -12 to discover the culture of Sydney in a fast-paced team environment.
Whilst on The Urban Challenge, students will take responsibility for managing their team’s budget, meals and transportation around Sydney. They will participate in a range of exciting activities and complete various team challenges along the way.
Our team of Guides are a friendly and energetic group of individuals with a diverse range of experience and expertise. They facilitate day programs and overnight programs that range from 2 to 5 days. We are looking for suitable candidates to join our expanding team!

Availability:
Applicants must be available for to stay overnight on programs, and be looking for an ongoing commitment for work throughout the year. Our programs run through the NSW school calendar and we provide paid training and ongoing development.
About you:
Based in Sydney or able to travel and looking for a diverse work space with an ongoing commitment. You have excellent time management and organisational skills and experience working with young people. Must enjoy working in a team environment and have strong facilitation skills. Should have a flexible approach, calm manner, be a creative problem solver and have a proactive professional nature.

Experience and Qualifications:
- Outdoor Education, Tourism, Teaching or other relevant group management experience
- Current Senior First Aid or above
- Current Working with Children’s Check
