What We’re Looking For

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certificate III or IV in Outdoor Leadership (or equivalent experience/qualifications)
  • At least 2 years' experience in the outdoor education sector
  • Current Wilderness/Remote First Aid and CPR certifications
  • Competency in activities such as facilitation, canoeing, mountain biking, hiking, and high ropes
  • QLD Blue Card (or the ability to obtain one)
  • Manual driver’s license (MR license is a big plus)

About Our Program

Rites of Passage (RoP)

Now in its 17th year, RoP is a 28-day residential experience for Year 9 students from Hong Kong. Students take part in a range of outdoor and personal development activities at our three centres near the Sunshine Coast. With over 200 participants each season, it’s a vibrant, immersive experience combined with Expeditions and centre based components 

Your Role

You’ll work closely with a team of passionate educators to co-lead and mentor students through both outdoor challenges and personal growth opportunities. It’s more than just running activities—it’s about creating space for young people to discover who they are and what they’re capable of.

Key Dates
  • RoP Program: July 8 – August 15, 2025
    (Includes 4 days of training and approximately 6 rest days. Multiple start dates available within this period)

Location: Kenilworth, Sunshine Coast, QLD
Employment Type: Full-Time Seasonal
Pay Scale: Miscellaneous Award Level 3
